Tenant Protection for Your Storage Unit

Storage is simple. Protecting what you store should be too. Tenant Protection helps cover your belongings while they’re in storage.

What Is Tenant Protection?

Tenant Protection is a low-cost coverage option that helps protect your stored items against certain unexpected events. It’s designed specifically for storage customers and can be added to your rental during move-in.

How to Add Protection

1. Choose Your Space

Select the unit size or parking space that fits your needs.

2. Add Protection

During checkout, choose Tenant Protection to cover your stored items.

3. Move In Confidently

Complete your rental and store with extra peace of mind.

Why Add Protection?

Peace of mind month to month
Helps cover items you can’t easily replace
Low monthly cost
Easy to add or update
Protects against common storage risks
Simple to keep active

Tenant Protection

Protect your storage against the unexpected!

We recommend Tenant Protection over homeowner's insurance because:

  • Your stored items may not be covered by your homeowner's policy
  • Your premiums could go up if you file a claim
  • Your homeowner's policy could be canceled if you file a claim

AVOID THE $200 DEDUCTIBLE

Be sure to use a disc or cylinder lock to avoid the $200 deductible.

Add tenant protection when renting a unit or add to an existing rental through your online account.

Coverage Options

$2,000.00 $12.00/month
